The flammable gas leak alarm is a gas leak detection alarm instrument. When the flammable gas leaks in the gas environment and the gas alarm detects that the gas concentration reaches the critical point set by the explosion or poisoning alarm, the gas alarm will send an alarm signal, and at the same time, it will automatically cut off the gas source to remind the staff of gas leakage. , immediately take safety measures to prevent a serious explosion.
Installation Precautions
1. If liquefied petroleum gas is used, because liquefied gas is heavier than air, the alarm should be installed at a distance of about 30cm from the ground; if natural gas or artificial gas is used, because it is lighter than air, the alarm should be installed at a distance of about 30cm from the ceiling.
2. Considering the temperature of the gas stove and the influence of oil fume, alcohol, acetic acid, etc., it is recommended to install it 50cm away from the gas stove. In addition, the alarm should be located on the downwind side of the maximum frequency wind direction of the release source. In principle, under the condition that the kitchen gas equipment will not damage the alarm, the gas alarm should be installed as close as possible to the center of the release source, and the distance from the center of the release source should not be greater than 7m. If it is greater than 7m, it is necessary to install two sets of gas Alarm system.
3. The gas alarm cannot be installed in the corner or in the cabinet where the air is not easy to flow, and there should be a clearance of more than 30cm around it.
4. The user should press the alarm self-test button at least once a month to check whether the alarm works normally. And often clean the oil and dust of the sensor air hole to avoid the alarm failure caused by it. High-concentration gas should not be close to the air inlet, so as not to affect the performance of the sensor. Do not wipe the alarm with detergent, the silicon in the detergent may cause the sensor to fail.
5. When the gas alarm alarms, you should open the doors and windows immediately. You cannot use an open flame or switch any household appliances indoors. You should quickly go outside and call for help, because the tiny sparks generated by the open flame or electrical current may cause an explosion accident.
