Smoke alarms have the function of early detection of fire signals, and their general principle is to prevent fires by detecting the concentration of smoke.
When a substance burns, it often produces smoke first, followed by visible and invisible light, and there is always a process from the beginning of the burning of the substance to the gradual increase of the fire, and the smoke detector will "capture" the "" "Signal", and convert the "captured" "signal" into an electrical signal, and transmit it to the controller of the automatic fire alarm system. According to different structures, smoke detectors can generally be divided into ion-type smoke detectors, photoelectric smoke detectors, and the like.
The working principle of the ionization smoke detector is that the radioactive source Am241 in the ionization chamber, the positive and negative ions generated by ionization, move to the positive and negative electrodes under the action of the electric field. Under normal circumstances, the current and voltage of the internal and external ionization chambers are stable, but when a fire occurs, smoke escapes into the external ionization chamber and interferes with the normal operation of charged particles, which will change the current and voltage, destroying the internal and external ionization chambers. The balance between the chambers is detected. When the voltage increase at both ends of the ionization chamber reaches a certain value, the detector will induce it, and the switch circuit will act to transmit the alarm information.
