Nowadays, with the continuous popularization of video surveillance, there are almost shadows of video surveillance in every subsystem of security. Among the perimeter alarm systems, the most common ones are electronic fences and infrared beams. How can these two be linked with video surveillance? Weak current Pharaoh introduces 3 ways to you, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
The linkage between perimeter alarm and monitoring means that when the perimeter system generates an alarm, the camera in the nearby area can immediately turn the lens to the alarm area and record the video, and the monitoring picture is immediately displayed on the display screen of the control center. After the linkage is realized, security personnel can immediately deal with the alarm situation.
The first linkage method: physical linkage of the DVR in the control center
After the perimeter electronic fence and infrared radio alarm signals are transmitted to the control center using the 485 bus, a linkage module is added to convert the bus signal back to the switch signal of each defense zone, and the switch signal is connected to the corresponding interface of the hard disk video recorder. Linkage is carried out through the hard disk video recorder.
Advantages: simple wiring, relatively simple connection. At present, most DVRs on the market have linkage interface, which is a common linkage method for video surveillance systems.
Disadvantages: There are many signal transmission conversion methods, long transmission distance, and delays and failures are more likely to occur
The second linkage method: front-end physical connection linkage
The perimeter electronic fence and infrared radiation correspond to the alarm signal (switch value) of the defense zone, which is directly connected to the camera that needs to be linked with it.
Advantages: Due to the short signal transmission distance, the linkage response is fast, and there will be no delay.
Disadvantages: The camera needs to be equipped with a linkage interface, and the price of this type of camera is generally higher.
The third linkage method: control center management software linkage
The perimeter electronic fence and infrared radio alarm signals are transmitted to the control center to realize linkage through the control software of the alarm host.
advantage:
Network TCP/IP transmission is a more common transmission method today. The software control interface is relatively clear, and there are many optional function settings, such as automatic recording, automatic snapshot, automatic storage, etc. can be set.
Disadvantages: Software control is affected by the network environment, and there will be a certain delay. The software requires debug settings.
