Installation and use of JA5188 wall-mounted gas detector |
2021.05.12 |
|
I. Installation and wiring
1. First determine whether the gas to be detected is heavier than air or lighter than air: the gas heavier than air includes liquefied petroleum gas and other gases lighter than air include natural gas, artificial gas, biogas, etc.
2. Install detectors in appropriate places according to the severity of the gas. When detecting gas heavier than air, it should be installed 0.3-1.0 meters above the ground and within 1.5 meters of the gas source radius; when detecting gas lighter than air, it should be installed 0.3-1.0 meters below the ceiling and within 1.5 meters of the gas source radius.
3. Fix the attached mounting screws to the wall and hang the detector.
4. When installing, it should also be noted that the installation location should not be too close to the gas stove, so as to avoid false alarms, thereby affecting the sensitivity of the detector: it should not be installed in the exhaust fan, doors and windows, and the bathroom where there is high moisture.
5 Correct wiring according to the diagram, and all wiring installation must comply with relevant national or local regulations and standards. Inappropriate connection will cause abnormal alarm in case of gas leakage.
II. Instructions
This product can be used as a standalone, and can be used in conjunction with various brands of wired alarm hosts for networking.
1. Use alone
(1), refer to the installation instructions of five, install the detector in the position where the phone is connected
(2) Turn on the power of the detector. The appliance enters the preheating state, the red indicator light flashes for one second, the buzzer beeps once, the red indicator light is off, and the green indicator light is on, indicating that the detector enters the normal working state.
2. Use of networking functions
(1) According to the installation instructions in step 5, install the detector in a suitable position, select the normally open or normally closed contact according to the requirements of the alarm host, and connect the detector to the host.
(2) Connect the detector power circuit to enter the preheating state. The red indicator light flashes for one second, the buzzer beeps once, the red indicator light is off, and the green indicator light is on to indicate that the detector enters the normal working state.
(3) The detector detects a flammable gas leak (test method: generally use a lighter to stop the fire, release some gas to the surrounding at a distance of >5cm from the gas convection window), the red indicator light flashes and the buzzer beeps at the same time The detector generates a "di one di" alarm sound, and outputs an alarm signal. After the combustible gas is removed, the detector automatically recovers
(4) The red indicator light keeps on and the buzzer keeps beeping, indicating that the detector is faulty.
When the detector has not been used for a long time, the warm-up time will be prolonged correspondingly when the detector is powered on for the first time.
